Cool Springs Surgery Center

It is partnered with Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) and is the only freestanding ambulatory surgery center in Williamson County. The center offers a variety of outpatient surgical procedures including general surgery, gastroenterology, gynecology, ophthalmology, oral surgery, plastics, pain management, podiatry, ENT, and urology. Nursing roles at the facility include Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) Registered Nurses who evaluate and prepare patients for scheduled surgical interventions, conduct physical assessments, review medical histories, educate patients, and ensure all clinical and administrative requirements are met. PAT nurses also periodically work in Pre-OP/Recovery to support the team and patient care.
