Kadlec

Originally established to care for Hanford area workers and their families, Kadlec has grown into a regional medical center providing care throughout the Mid-Columbia region. As a private corporation governed by local volunteer trustees, Kadlec operates with community interests at the forefront. The facility is affiliated with the Providence health system, and nurses are referred to as 'Providence caregivers.' Kadlec is home to a growing open heart surgery and interventional cardiology program, the region's only Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, and a world-class all-digital outpatient imaging center. The organization emphasizes a culture of patient-focused, whole-person care built on understanding, commitment, and mutual respect. Nursing roles at Kadlec span various specialties including cardiac acute care, clinical education, and care coordination. The organization actively recruits new graduate RNs through residency programs and offers nurse educator roles for professional development.
