Surgical Technologist

InGenesis is currently seeking Surgical Technicians/OR Tech to work with our client in San Antonio, TX. In this role, you will be responsible for circulating the full range of surgical procedures performed in the operating room. Duties include functioning as a sterile member of the surgical team, passing instruments, sutures, and sponges during surgery, processing and sterilizing surgical instrumentation, anticipating surgeon needs, performing the role of circulator under direct supervision of a government RN, exercising universal precautions set forth by CDC, transporting patients, screening patients prior to transport, documenting patient care, performing direct patient care procedures, orienting and training new personnel, quality assurance/risk management, assisting surgeons with complex procedures, and handing instruments to surgeons.
