Pediatric Primary Care Nurse LPN or RN

* Ability to assess nursing needs of acute and chronically ill patients * Ability to seek out resources independently and work collaboratively * Ability to communicate clearly with patients, families, healthcare team and leadership * Ability to teach patients and families in accordance with the nursing plan of care * Ability to use the computer and learn new software programs * Ability to document and communicate pertinent information using computer * Completion of accredited nursing program with an active Louisiana LPN or RN license * Minimum of one year experience providing care in a clinical environment; Pediatric experience preferred Hours: This full time position is expected to average 40 hours per week. Applicant may be asked to work one rotating Saturday morning (8am-12pm) shift bi-monthly, as needed. Shift diff is payable for Saturday hours.
