About this role
Staff Registered Nurse position providing patient-centered care during clinic appointments. Responsibilities include conducting focused nursing assessments, performing urine pregnancy testing, STI testing, limited obstetric ultrasound examinations, patient education, and care coordination. Requires current Oregon RN license, BLS certification, and minimum one year of nursing experience.
Work is performed in a medical clinic setting and may include service delivery at other clinic locations or mobile medical units. The role may require standing, walking, assisting patients, preparing exam rooms, handling clinical supplies, using medical equipment, drawing blood, collecting specimens, and maintaining patient safety and comfort throughout appointments.
The Staff RN must be able to maintain professionalism and composure in a clinical environment where patients may be experiencing emotional stress, uncertainty, or sensitive personal circumstances.
