Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Levine Children's Hospita - Observation

PRN night shift position 7p-7a at LCH 5 Observation (16 beds, mixed population of observation and short stay inpatients). Most patients are surgical or procedural, staying 48-72 hours. Surgical patients include children who have had appendectomy, cleft lip or palate repair, cardiac catheterization, and biopsies. Also cares for children requiring special testing such as FPIES studies, fasting glucose testing, and water deprivation studies. RN plays a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. Uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skilled communication while leading efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience.
