Lead Instructor RN IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal (IVBW) Class. We are seeking a passionate, reliable, and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team as an IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal (IVBW) Instructor. This role is ideal for an RN with strong IV and venipuncture skills who enjoys teaching and mentoring healthcare students in a supportive classroom environment. The course has been fully designed with all curriculum, lectures, slide shows, videos, quizzes, and skills check offs previously created. An IVBW Classroom Assistant will be present at each class. Responsibilities include teaching 3 consecutive days of evening shift IV Therapy & Blood Withdrawal course in compliance with BVNPT requirements, delivering engaging lectures and demonstrations, administering quizzes and skills check-offs, maintaining accurate student attendance and grading, ensuring a safe learning environment, and providing mentorship to students.
Requirements
Master's Degree (MSN or healthcare related masters degree)
Current California RN license in good standing
Minimum one year of clinical experience with IV therapy and venipuncture
Previous teaching or training experience
Strong communication and organizational skills
Ability to manage classroom activities and maintain compliance with BVNPT regulations
Ability to manage and supervise 15 students at a time
