Under limited supervision, the licensed vocational nurse (LVN) and Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for the delivery of patient care to assigned patients utilizing the nursing processes of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, and any standards, policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations that govern any facility the RN/LVN is working at.
Requirements
Graduation from an approved certification/program/accredited school/undergraduate/graduate school or post graduate education
Valid/unencumbered license to practice in the state where services are provided
Professional experience as required per state regulations
Successful completion of assigned screening/competency testing with a proficiency score of 80% or greater
