Registered Nurse - Observation Unit

Job Title: RN Observation Unit Location: Urbana, Il Duration: 13 Weeks (Possible Extension) Shift: Day 3x12-Hour (07:00 - 19:30) Weekly Pay: $2200 - $2400 Start Date: ASAP *Department Specific Job Functions:* -Assess IV sites every 4 hours. -Start new IVs per Carle policy. -Must maintain documentation standards as evidenced by passed quarterly chart audits. -Must attend 5 out 6 staff meetings per year -Identify change in patient status and respond appropriately. * Skills: Required Skills & Experience: * -Minimum one (1) year of relevant nursing experience. -Writes, reads, comprehends and speaks fluent English. -Basic computer knowledge using word processing, spreadsheet, email, and web browser. -Multicultural sensitivity. -Critical thinking skills using independent judgement in making decisions.
