Registered Nurse (RN)

* Monitor and chart vital signs, document in the medication administration record * Collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to share expertise and knowledge * Participate in cancer research trials, administering medications per protocol * Provide supportive resources to patients and caregivers to promote health and wellness * Teach patients and caregivers families regarding treatment expectations. * Monitor patient status during the administration of chemotherapy, immunotherapy and supportive medications. * Chart the patient’s response to treatment and medication. * Educate patients and caregivers about follow up care and emergency services We Require * Valid New York State RN License * Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required. * Excellent assessment, communication, and organizational skills. * Proficiency with an EMR (preferred) * Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk working on a computer, standing, bending and reaching * Knowledge of standard precautions and the ability to utilize appropriate PPE when administering cytotoxic agents and handling bloodborne pathogens and bodily fluids * Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. * Reliable transportation to travel to NYCBS locations for patient care needs What We Offer * Salary: Starting at $52 per hour * Benefits: Health Insurance on day 1, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, Short- and Long- 401k Plan, Paid Time Off (PTO), 8 paid holidays (2 floating)term disability, Join us at NYCBS, where we are making strides in healthcare through innovative and compassionate care.
