About this role

Registered Nurse position in the Surgical unit at VA Providence Medical Center. Full-time, 40 hours per week. Provides competent, evidence-based specialty care to assigned patients and oversight of licensed vocational nurses/nursing assistants. Includes patient care, care coordination, health promotion, health education and coaching on wellness and disease prevention. Eligible for Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) with student loan reimbursement up to $200,000. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE) and current, full, active, and unrestricted RN licensure. Various grade levels (Nurse I-Level I through Nurse III) based on education and experience.

Requirements

per VHA policy and submit your EDRP application within four months of appointment. Program Approval - award amount (up to $200 -000) & eligibility period (one to five years) are determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after review of the EDRP application. Former EDRP participants ineligible to apply.
