As an RN, you’ll care for a diverse population of middle to older adults with complex medical and post-surgical conditions. You’ll manage a range of needs, including central lines, IVs, PCAs, dialysis, chest tubes, wound care, ostomies and post-operative recovery, while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to ensure the best possible outcomes for your patients. What You’ll Do: Deliver specialized nursing care for diverse medical and post-surgical patients, focusing on age-appropriate treatment. Manage complex treatments such as IV therapies, central lines, PCAs, chest tubes, wound care and dialysis. Monitor patients with complex comorbidities, ensuring the best possible outcomes for those with multiple health conditions. Educate patients and families on recovery, medication management and self-care strategies. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to implement personalized care plans. Perform patient assessments and adjust care plans to ensure effective recovery. Support patients in transitioning from hospital to home by providing guidance on recovery and home care needs. Monitor dialysis treatments and manage patients with complex conditions. Work with LPNs, CNAs and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care. Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols. Assist in post-operative recovery, monitoring patients and managing complications as needed.
