Registered Nurse | 1st shift | Behavioral Health (BHU)

Job Details Description Work Schedule and Shift Premiums * 36 to 40 hours/week including every other weekend * 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour, 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour, and weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour Benefits For Full Time Employees * Insurance: medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disability * Paid Time Off: vacation, holidays * Retirement: 403(b) with match * Education assistance and continuing education Qualifications * High school diploma or equivalent plus associates degree or higher in nursing * Valid Michigan RN license * Mental Health nursing experience preferred, but may consider others with an interest in and aptitude for the field * BLS, ACLS, and TEAMS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital) Responsibilities * Direct and carry out nursing activities for assigned shift * Administer medication assuring consents are obtained on all psychotropic, anti-anxiety agents and antidepressants, and that patient is given medication information * Ensure all discharge interviews and safety plans are complete for each patient
