Registered Nurse

PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is looking for dedicated and hard-working Registered Nurses (RN) to work full-time in the medical department at the St. Mary's Detention Center located in Leonardtown, MD. In this role, you will provide comprehensive nursing care and perform duties under the supervision of the Nurse Supervisor, ADON, DON, and HSA. Available Shifts: Full-Time or Part-Time Evening Shift Nurse (2:00 pm to 10:30 pm) with rotating weekends. Job Responsibilities include performing duties under the supervision of a Medical Director or other mid-level practitioner, providing health counseling to inmates/patients, conducting sick calls, administering immunizations and medications, performing ECGs, recording and filing medical information, taking vital signs, and completing assessments. MAT & Detox experience preferred, but not required. This position provides a 2-week orientation period with on-the-job training and shadowing.
