About the opportunity: Provide direction and supervision to other staff caring for patients in the unit. Organize, coordinate, and facilitate patient care. Collaborate with clinical providers, staff, and clinical leadership to achieve optimal patient outcomes. What you will do: Maintain daily operational aspects of the unit to include, but not limited to, staffing, scheduling, and environment of care. Manage nurse/patient ratios to ensure safe, quality care and financial responsibility. Manage resources to minimize overtime. Serve as a resource in the provision of care, providing staff supervision and fostering professional growth. Serve as a unit expert and resource to staff and providers. Utilize appropriate resources as necessary.
