About this role

Charge RN for a 48 bed step down unit. Under the direction of the Nursing Director, works with the Department RN Manager and RN Assistant Manager as part of the management/leadership team to provide clinical and operational shift supervision of care processes including patient flow, exceptional care experiences, quality processes, patient safety, and direction of unit staff. The unit treats a wide variety of patients including those with Stroke, CHF, GI, Renal, Neurologic conditions, patients in respiratory distress, Neuro, and post bariatric surgery patients.

Requirements

Minimum one year of nursing experience
Associate Degree from accredited academic nursing program
Registered Nurse licensure - State of New Mexico or Compact State
ACLS Certification
