About this role

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Frankie’s World plays an important role. He or she performs clinical services for pediatric patients in a medical day care setting. This can be either a full-time or part-time position. Duties Maintain client confidentiality and respect client dignity. Conduct daily assessments. Participate in patient care plans. Dispense medications according to center’s protocol and physician’s orders. Chart the health and behavior of each patient. Participate actively in engaging the children with the age-appropriate educational program in the classroom. Supervise patients to monitor diet and safety issues, and participate in therapeutic recreation activities as needed. Provide health education and support for patients and their families. Supervise classroom Aides. Maintain regular attendance. Perform other related duties as assigned within local, state and federal regulations.
