REGISTERED NURSE-Cath/EP Lab RN

Registered Professional Nurse position in the Cath/EP Lab at Bridgeport Hospital, part of Yale New Haven Health System. RN practices professional nursing within the legal and ethical framework established by the Connecticut Nurse Practice Act, ANA Scope and Standards for Nursing Practice, and ANA Code of Ethics. Responsibilities include standards of practice (assessment, diagnosis, outcomes identification, planning, implementation, evaluation) and standards of professional performance (ethics, culturally congruent practice, communication, collaboration, leadership, education, evidence-based practice, quality of practice, professional practice evaluation, resource utilization, environmental health). Qualifications: Graduation from accredited school of nursing, BSN preferred. Licensed and currently registered nurse in State of Connecticut. Acute Care RN experience required, Critical Care experience highly preferred. BLS required, ACLS required within 30 days of hire. Clinical specialty certification highly encouraged.
