About this role
Assistant Director of Nursing (RN) | Nursing Leadership, Staff Development & Infection Prevention. Wellspring Skilled Nursing & Rehab – Monroe. Full-Time | Salaried $80,000 – $90,000 annually. The Assistant Director of Nursing works alongside the Director of Nursing to strengthen clinical excellence, guide staff development, prevent infections, and ensure every resident receives safe, high-quality care. Responsibilities include mentoring nurses, educating staff, reviewing clinical trends, participating in wound rounds, collaborating with physicians and therapists, and implementing quality improvement and infection prevention practices.
Long-term care, sub-acute, medical-surgical or critical care experience preferred
Infection Control certification, or willingness to obtain certification
BSN preferred
Experience in staff education, mentoring, leadership or team development is highly valued
