About this role
Camp Nurse (RN or LPN) – Pocono Mountains Residential Camp. Location: Lake Como, PA. Employment Type: Full-Time, Seasonal (June 8 – August 19, 2026). A leadership role—not simply a staff nurse position. The Head Nurse directs all medical decisions and Health Center operations for a 300+ person residential community, supervising a three-nurse team in an 8-bed infirmary across the full summer season.
Requirements
- Active RN or LPN license in good standing
- 4+ years of professional nursing experience
- 3+ years working with children ages 6–17
- Demonstrated experience supervising or leading a medical team
- Comfortable training others in clinical procedures
- Strong organizational and scheduling capabilities
- Able and willing to live and work on-site for the full summer commitment
