OR Registered Nurse - Plastic Surgery and Aesthetics

Austin Plastic Surgeon is looking for a full-time Operating Room/Recovery RN to join our outpatient surgical team and assist surgeons during operations and other medical procedures. The OR RN will oversee the safe, effective, and efficient care of patients in the operating room by sterilizing equipment, preparing rooms, and assessing patients before and after surgery. The successful candidate must be able to work Saturdays and some weekday shifts. Responsibilities include applying aseptic and sterile techniques, evaluating surgical patients prior to surgery and in postoperative phases, alleviating patients' concerns, preparing patients for surgery, assisting surgeon during procedures, monitoring patients' vital signs in the recovery room, and reviewing patient discharge instructions with their caregiver.
