Registered Nurse PAT

• Performs all aspects of patient care in an environment that optimizes patient safety and reduces the likelihood of medical/health care errors. • Participates in performance improvement activities • Complete and assess EKGs • Draw patient labs as ordered by physician KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: • Must be able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment and reliability. • Initiative and ability to troubleshoot and resolve conflict. • Able to thrive and succeed in a team environment. • Exceptional organization skills, ability to multitask and prioritize work activity based on need, attention to detail, initiative, and follow-through skills. • Advanced level written and verbal communication skills, strong decision-making ability and attention to detail yielding effective conveyance of information. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor of Science in Nursing. • Current and unencumbered RN license in the State of Texas. • Three (3) years of perioperative nursing experience. • Basic Life Science (BLS) certified. • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certified. • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certified or must be obtained within thirty (90) days of hire.
