Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process to plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, initiating plan of care, incorporating therapeutic, preventive, and rehabilitative nursing actions, intervening in response to changes in patient condition, administering medications and treatments, and reviewing plan of care for healthcare teaching, care coordination, goal setting and discharge planning.
