Telemetry/step-down experience required. EKG, cardiac drips. Mixed PCU and tele acuity; dedicated PCU work history not required. Required Credentials: RNs only - Clinicians who obtained RN degree outside of the U. S. and do not hold MO/IL/Compact license require extended licensing and compliance timeframe. Unit Details: Adult patient population. Procedures and cases include cardiac catheterization, pacemaker/AICD placement, echocardiogram, treadmill stress test, nuclear stress test, cardiac MRI/CT, cardioversion/ablation, carotid doppler, pulmonary function test, and anti-arrhythmic drug loading. Patient population includes CHF, arrhythmias/A-fib/A-flutter, ACS-STEMI/NSTEMI, heart valve disease, CAD, pulmonary hypertension, hypertensive crisis, chest pain/shortness of breath/syncope, pacemaker/AICD malfunction, acute renal failure, and pulmonary HTN patients. Wear scrubs. • If you are working a straight night shift: If you are working straight night shift, there is no charge for parking, and you may park in the employee parking (you will receive parking information during orientation). • If you will be working a day/night rotation: you will have to obtain a parking pass for which there is a $70.00 fee per month. The garage that you will be parking in will be Clayton/Taylor Ave location. Bring your license plate number with you on your first day. Shift & Scheduling: BJC policy: Every other weekend required. However, an interview can be arranged upon request. All time off requests must be submitted at application. Scheduling requests must be worked out with the manager directly upon starting the assignment.
