Registered Nurse (Procedure Clinic)

The Outpatient Procedure Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for providing competent, evidence-based outpatient care to patients. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient transition through the continuum of patient care, patient and family education, patient self-management after discharge, and supporting factors that impact customer satisfaction. The Minor Procedure RN delivers and manages the care of patients undergoing surgical and endoscopic procedures for both inpatients and outpatients. Responsible for circulating, scrubbing, monitoring hemodynamics and moderate sedation, administering medications, managing specimens, and providing pre- and post-care to patients undergoing invasive procedures.
