Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state. Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred; recent patient contact within last 3 years (preferred). Ability to work independently and make sound clinical judgments. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to cope with emotional stress. Ability to supervise nursing staff and respond to crises outside hospital settings. Completion of hospice training program required (or willingness to complete). Physical capability to perform essential duties, including lifting patients up to 100 pounds and tolerating exposure to elements like odors, blood, and body fluids. Must provide annual TB test and other state-required health screenings. Must have a valid driver's license, auto insurance, and reliable transportation. Ability to adapt to diverse social, racial, cultural, and religious backgrounds.
