About this role
PrimeCare Medical, Inc. is looking for dedicated and hard-working Registered Nurses (RN) to work in the medical department at the Franklin County Jail located in Chambersburg, PA. Full-Time Day Shift - 6 am to 2:30 pm. Full-Time Evening Shift - 2 pm to 10:30 pm. Performs duties under the supervision of a Medical Director or other mid-level practitioner according to protocols. Provide health counseling to inmates/patients, conduct sick calls, administer immunizations and medications, perform ECGs, record and file medical information, take vital signs and do complete assessments.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the state the facility is located
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Strong patient assessment skills
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Demonstrate clinical competency
- First aid and CPR
