Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)

According to the Plan of Care for the tenant, CNAs apply skills in basic nursing, personal care, and basic restorative services while understanding the mental health and social service needs of the tenant and being mindful of the needs of cognitively impaired tenants. The CNA is part of the interdisciplinary care team that is dedicated to promoting independence, autonomous decision-making, and facilitating tenants to achieve and maintain the highest practicable physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.
