School Nurse for the 2026-27 School Year

* Contact parents/guardians in cases of illness, injury, or health-related concerns * Complete and maintain accurate documentation of all health incidents * Maintain up-to-date student medical records, including emergency care plans * Assist in developing and implementing emergency response procedures * Collaborate with school staff to support student health needs * Attend required staff meetings and participate in school activities as needed * Promote effective communication between parents, staff, and students * Support positive school-parent relationships when discussing student health concerns * Serve as a reliable and supportive health resource for the school community * Requirements: * * Degree from an accredited school of nursing * Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Virginia or multi-state licensure privilege * Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification * Strong communication and organizational skills * Ability to work effectively with students of all ages * Pediatric or school nursing experience preferred Pinnacle Academy provided the following inclusive hiring information: We are an equal opportunity employer and consider all qualified applicants equally without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran status, or disability status.
