Cardiology Registered Nurse

The Registered Nurse Cardiac - Vascular provides professional nursing care for clinic patients following established standards and practices. The RN cardio-vascular nurse possesses advanced knowledge and skill in cardiac nursing. Also, they will need to demonstrate critical thinking skills, scientific judgment, and leadership in anticipation and planning for the care of the patient. Participates as part of an interdisciplinary care team in the treatment of cardiac-vascular conditions such as heart failure, heart valve disorders, high blood pressure, vascular disorders, heart attack and arrythmia. Interprets data and responds to urgent situations in a way that optimizes patient care and produces positive outcomes. Performs and interprets various cardiac and vascular lab tests. Works closely with cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, electrophysiologists, and other physicians in the care and treatment of full range of cardiovascular conditions. Participates in clinical trials and clinical research programs as per clinic needs.
