RN Fetal Care

Registered Nurse III – Fetal Care (Inpatient) at Cincinnati Children's Hospital. The RN III in the Fetal Care Program provides specialized inpatient nursing care to mothers whose unborn babies have complex or high-risk medical conditions and fetal conditions. This role is integral to a highly coordinated, multidisciplinary team focused on optimizing maternal and fetal outcomes through advanced monitoring, education, and compassionate support. Key responsibilities include delivering comprehensive patient-centered nursing care to high-risk antepartum and peripartum patients, monitoring maternal and fetal status, collaborating with maternal-fetal medicine specialists, providing education and emotional support to patients and families, coordinating care across disciplines, maintaining accurate documentation, and participating in quality improvement initiatives.
