*Responsibilities*
* Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and physiological evaluations to inform care plans.
* Administer medications and injections accurately, including IV infusions and medication management tailored to individual needs.
* Manage airway maintenance, ventilator support, and aseptic techniques to ensure optimal respiratory and infection control standards.

* Perform procedures such as suturing, catheterization (including urinary and vascular), phlebotomy, and wound care with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on complex cases involving trauma medicine, ICU patients, or post-operative recovery, utilizing EMR systems like Epic or Cerner for documentation.
* Provide specialized care for patients with chronic conditions such as dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or developmental disabilities in memory care or assisted living environments.
* Support emergency response efforts by triaging patients in urgent situations, managing acute pain, and implementing life support measures like basic life support (BLS).
* Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain detailed medical records while delivering compassionate patient care during overnight hours.
*Qualifications*
* Valid RN license with current state registration.
* Proven experience in critical care environments such as ICU, emergency room, or trauma centers; Level I or II trauma center experience preferred.
* Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and laboratory procedures.
* Hands-on experience with EMR/EHR systems like Epic or Cerner; familiarity with medical imaging and diagnostic evaluation is a plus.
* Competency in advanced nursing skills including IV insertion, aseptic technique, ventilator management, tube feeding, and infection control practices.
* Experience working with diverse patient populations including pediatrics (neonatal ventilator), geriatrics (memory care), behavioral health, or hospice & palliative medicine.
* Ability to perform physical examinations and assessments accurately while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
